Photographs genuinely change the answer on this trade. A close shot of a joint or a dip usually tells us what is wrong before anyone drives out, and a photo of the side gate tells us more about the price of a new patio than the dimensions do.

Not on the list but close to it? Choose the last option and tell us where.

Rough is fine. Paces across the yard will do.

If a surface has settled, tell us where it dips and when you first noticed it.

Three steps, no obligation

What happens after you send this

  1. 1We call you back

Usually the same working day. We will ask a few questions about the surface and the access before we come out, because it saves everyone a wasted visit.

  2. 2Site visit

About an hour, no charge, no obligation. We check the fall, look at where water goes during a storm, probe for caliche and work out the access route.

  3. 3Written quote

Itemised, with the excavation depth, base thickness, bedding, edge restraint and joint sand written into it, so you can compare it properly against anyone else.

Before anyone digs on your property

Arizona law requires a utility locate before excavation, and that includes work you do yourself. Call 811 or submit a request through Arizona 811 at least two full working days before any digging starts, and wait for the locate to be completed.

Gas, water, power, irrigation and low voltage lines all run through exactly the shallow depths a paver base occupies, and hitting one is dangerous as well as expensive. We arrange the locate on every job we do. If you are doing your own work, do not skip it.
